Kitten Quest is about an imaginative girl who finds adventure each summer in the special town of Cliffside. She must save a seemingly sweet kitten from the clutches of an evil bird named Buzz. You will also meet some rather creepy kittens, a very mad professor, and a strange artificial intelligence going by the name of Tinman. And that is just the start. There are monsters afoot.
Warning. Crissy has a very active imagination and she loves to daydream. In her make-believe worlds, she faces train robbers, space pirates, and a lava monster. She must also stand up against a very real, unfriendly bird. There are parts of the book that could be a little frightening to sensitive people, including a picture of that bird. Oh! There is also a very special KITTEN QUEST. The creepy kittens. We should probably say creepy kITTENS. They have a quest after finding themselves up to their creepy little eyeballs with trouble from an angry AI. All of that makes for plenty of action.
Surrounded by all of that, Crissy learns about anger, pride, envy, and love-in-action as she tries to figure out what is going on with a moody, selfish friend.
The action, adventure, and high-tech stuff increase as the book series creeps ahead, along with even more frightfully fun characters and scenes. But seriously, there are some scary scenes and pictures, especially as the series moves into book 2.
This is good, wholesome storytelling.
The kREEPY kITTEN action continues when Crissy and her whole family are called back to Cliffside. That troublesome bird, Buzz, was nothing compared to what Team Endgame must face as three earth shattering events collide to set up an apocalyptic series finale.
There are some possible frightening scenes and pictures in the book, so think about your tolerance for terror. Okay, it’s probably not that scary, but it could be for some folk. Just saying.
Kids! Sail the high seas to adventure with WAVERUNNER. There will be plenty of action and surprises along the way. Did someone say PIRATES? Yes! And these pirates are definitely out-of-this-world. You’ll see. Thank goodness the crew is ready for anything. That goes double for young Johnny, who is, sort of, a stowaway. And the young princess. What is she doing on Waverunner?
Warning. There are scenes that contain some violence. Cannon balls fly. The crew of Waverunner face danger that could be a little frightening to sensitive people.
The author has been careful to leave in the excitement while leaving out overly frightening descriptions or language.
A mixed-up thief finds redemption in this unique story filled with action and adventure and even some humor.
